--QB Vince Young practiced Wednesday for the first time since he sprained his left knee in the season opener against Jacksonville and followed that with a melodrama the next day that included his skipping a scheduled MRI and Nashville police searching for him.
Young did limited work with the offense in the team period and also worked with the scout team on Wednesday. Titans coach Jeff Fisher offered no specific timetable for Young's status this week, as to whether he would be the second- or third-string quarterback Sunday in Baltimore.
"He was kind of limited today, and we'll just pick up the pace as the week goes on," Fisher said. "He looked just like I expected to see. The arm strength is good, the legs are good, and he moved around. He had a really good workout yesterday."
Young's practice load will increase throughout the week to help determine his health and status for the game.
"We're going to pick the pace up tomorrow, and see how he is. I probably won't make that decision until Sunday," Fisher said. "I need to see him continue through the week to progress physically. He's into the game plan, that's not a concern of mine."
Young was unavailable to the media and has not done any interviews since the Thursday following the injury.
--LB Keith Bulluck said the good old days of the Titans-Ravens rivalry were made even better, in his eyes, by the verbal sparring carried out by Jeff Fisher and then-Ravens coach Brian Billick, who was fired after last season.
"I think I miss the Billick and Fisher rivalry just because they always used to take good shots at each other during the week. That was always fun," Bulluck said.
Fisher has denied reports after Sunday's game that he told players that the Titans "hate" the Ravens in the locker room after the game. Bulluck offered his own unique version of what transpired in the locker room after last week's victory over Minnesota.
"No, Jeff didn't say anything like that. Someone else said something," Bulluck said.
So did Bulluck remember anyone saying they hated the Ravens?
"It was me!" Bulluck said, drawing a roaring laugh from reporters. "You had to be there to hear what I said."
BY THE NUMBERS: 0 -- Points the Titans have allowed in the third quarter this season through four games. The Titans have scored only nine points in the third quarter.
5 -- Touchdowns scored by LenDale White this season, including at least one in each Titans game this season. If he scores Sunday in Baltimore, he will tie Earl Campbell's franchise record for most consecutive games with a touchdown.
30 -- Points scored in each of the last two games (actually 31 vs. Houston), marking the first time since 2004, the Titans had scored at least 30 points in consecutive games. Incidentally, the Titans lost both those 2004 games.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "Last time they came in here, they stole one, when our quarterback was playing for their team, along with our wide receiver, Derrick Mason, and all that." -- LB Keith Bulluck, talking about Baltimore's 27-26 win over Tennessee in 2006. In that game, the Titans led 19-7 before their former quarterback Steve McNair rallied the Ravens, connecting with former Titan Derrick Mason for the winning touchdown.
